Samsung LE46N73BD = Very good quality aside from SD and 1080p capabilities, twin HDMIs, massive price difference between this and the R73 (£500!) Pioneer Plasma PDP4270XD = Absolutely stunning picture quality on component, no VGA, and wavy grains on static frames (i.e. LG 37PC1DA LCD = Very good on HD material via HDMI, washed out quality everywhere else *This compliments for this TV were compared against:
#THUG 2 PC BLURR 720P#
Here are the following points I like about this TV (Bearing in mind I used to have a more expensive version of a Sony Bravia that went back faulty!):ġ.) Component quality is very good, especially on 720p (1080i seems to have a bit of ghosting)Ģ.) VGA pixels are sooooooooooooo good on the PC (my Bravia used to have blurry text-edges)ģ.) SD broadcast quality is OK, nothing special, unless you probably have a DishĤ.) Menus are very easy to use and quite fast responsesĥ.) Very nice-looking black/grey remote, compared to my old Bravia and other TVs that look like its made out of cheap grey plasticĦ.) Very nice solid build, completely black gloss finish (dont believe in people that say its annoying when it reflects a lot of light into your eyes, because it doesnt!) The Samsung R73 seems to be a very good purchase for me and I am very pleased with it.
